I'm based in Singapore.
I've lived and worked in China, Qatar and Thailand.
In 2022, I had a stroke. It came out of the blue.
In 2024, I lost my job. My 3rd layoff in 12 years.
In 2025, I started this website.
The stroke did not leave any permanent impact on my health.
I had finished my house and car mortgage. With some leftover.
I am now able to do the things that I like. This website for example.
I love travelling. I'm now able to travel without responding to emails, remote meetings and calls at all sort of hours.
Some call it luck. Some divine intervention. Some call it planning. Whatever it was, life can certainly throw one or more curveballs. And life is short.
So, for those who have not started planning for retirement, I hope this website can be of help. For those who have planned well, we welcome your contributions to make this an even better website.
